The project aims to establish flourishing ecosystems for birds and bees within Milan’s bustling urban landscape. Through collaboration with the city of Milan, the aim was to repurpose the rooftops of iconic buildings into multifunctional spaces that benefit the city.

Alongside Jieun Cha, a collaborative conceptualization phase was initiated, followed by individual efforts to implement innovative design solutions that seamlessly blend with the existing urban environment.

The proposal encompasses the integration of Apiaries and Aviaries across various levels of the Unicredit Towers. These spaces, both public and private, offer visitors the opportunity to observe, interact, and learn about birds while also providing facilities for beekeeping and honey harvesting.
