"Technically Touchable, a kinetic exploration, studying machine agency and human empathy. It transcends mechanical nature, creating a tactile language for non-human entities to convey comforting gestures reminiscent of human embraces. The project reveals the interplay between identity and the world, defying expectations by deciding whom to embrace based on observers' movements and responses. Using digital sensing, motor-actuated pulley systems, and soft robotics, it reignites our connection to bodily sensations, fostering a kinaesthetic dialogue."
